Learn how to see statistics on youtube videos to help your channel grow faster.
You can see how successful your videos are and replicate that success by paying
attention to your statistics, which are available to every YouTuber for free in
the Analytics section of the Creator Studio. Sign in to your YouTube account
and navigate your Creator Studio to view your YouTube Analytics. Then, select
the Analytics tab in the menu on the left side of your screen.
Click on Watch time under Watch time reports to see which of your videos
are performing the best. At the top of the page, you'll see a graph of your
overall watch time, and scrolling down will reveal a list of your videos ranked
by watch time. The best-performing videos will be at the top; you can see more
statistics about them by clicking on their titles. Following that, you'll be
able to navigate through the various sections of your Analytics and view
reports related to the specific video you clicked on.
Watch Time Reports and Interaction Reports are the two main types of
analytics reports.
1. How to Interpret YouTube Watch Time Reports
You can find Watch time reports by logging into your Google account,
going to the Creator Studio, clicking the analytics tab, and then clicking on
watch time. You can see the watch time of each video on your channel, which is
useful information because watch time is the most important factor in ranking
your video in search results. A watch time report shows the total time your
video or a group of videos has been watched. To ensure that you are only
publishing high-quality videos, you must ensure that your viewers consistently
return to your videos and watch them all the way through, or at least until the
halfway point. Watch time is one of the most important metrics for ensuring
that you are engaging your audience.
YouTube Video Statistics can now show the watch time of each video you've created. Seeing
the metrics on how long people watch each video you create can show you what
you've done well in the past and what you need to do more to continue
increasing your watch time.
2. How to Interpret YouTube Interaction Reports
Interaction reports are based on actions taken by viewers, such as
subscribing to your channel, liking your videos, or leaving comments.
Interaction reports are available in the Creator Studio under Analytics.
Interaction reports can be divided into several categories to help
determine the overall performance of any YouTube videos. It would help if you
were interested in the following interaction reports:
- Subscribers: You
can find detailed information about your subscribers, such as
demographics, age groups, and gender. Knowing more about your subscribers
can assist you in tailoring your content. For example, suppose you
discover that most of your viewers are young women under 24 in the United
States. In that case, you can research what is currently popular with
young women under 24 in the United States.
- Likes
and dislikes: While likes and dislikes aren't a strong
metric for search engine rankings, they do provide useful information to
creators. It would help if you investigated why you get a lot of dislikes
on a video. If a video receives a lot of likes, you should focus on
creating similar content.
- Playlists: A
viewer who watches a playlist in a playlist is likelier to continue
watching videos from that playlist, making playlists ideal for channel
growth. Reports in this section will assist you in determining which of
your playlists is performing the best, which may give you an idea of which
types of videos or video topics are popular with your viewers.
